Managing Director
Simon is a strategy and transformation leader with over 20 years of experience in financial services and payments. He spent 10 years with Accenture Strategy advising global banks and payment providers on growth, innovation, and market entry. At Visa, he served as Head of Acceptance and Regional Strategy Lead for CEMEA, driving ecosystem development across the Middle East and Africa. At VentiQ, Simon helps clients craft and execute high-impact go-to-market strategies and payment modernization initiatives.
Chun Hsien Peng
Managing Director – Asia | Singapore
Chun Hsien is a seasoned banking and payments executive with over two decades of leadership experience at Visa, Ant Financial, and Citigroup. He has driven platform innovation, product launches, and regional expansion across Asia. At VentiQ, Chun leads the Asia practice, advising clients on modern payment infrastructure, embedded finance strategies, and SME-focused digital solutions. His expertise spans core banking modernization, PayFac enablement, and emerging technologies from biometrics to stablecoins.
Salvador Perez Galindo
Public Policy & Market Enablement Advisor
Salvador is a global policy and market enablement expert with deep experience shaping digital finance regulation. He retired from Visa in February 2025 after a 20-year career managing the regulatory and policy teams in two of the company’s fastest growing regions (Latin America and the Caribbean as well as Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa), in addition to a global advisory role. At VentiQ, Salvador advises fintechs, platforms, and investors on regulatory strategy, ecosystem engagement, and enabling innovation in partnership with public sector stakeholders.
Smiyet Belrhiti
M&A and Investment Advisor
M&A and Investment Advisor Smiyet is a senior investment and corporate development executive with over 15 years of experience across fintech, private equity, and venture capital. In his last role, he was Head of Corporate Development and M&A at Visa CEMEA, and spent over a decade at the Abraaj Group leading growth-stage investments and holding board seats across several tech firms. At VentiQ, Smiyet supports clients and investors with reviewing and analyzing deal opportunities, deal structuring, and investment strategy
Arshika Perry
Legal & Fundraising Advisor – Fintech & Payments
Arshika is a seasoned legal and commercial advisor with deep experience across the payments ecosystem, including senior roles at Visa and Checkout.com. She supports clients in reviewing, negotiating, and simplifying complex contracts – particularly scheme agreements and processing partnerships. In parallel, she advises fintechs on fundraising strategy, helping shape investor narratives, structure deals, and navigate term sheets. With a rare blend of legal rigor and commercial insight, Arshika is a trusted partner to founders scaling in regulated, high-stakes environments.
Paul Reynolds
Digital Banking & Lending Lead
Paul is a digital banking and SME lending specialist with more than two decades of experience across Asia Pacific and emerging markets. He has advised central banks, fintechs, and commercial institutions on digital lending and financial inclusion, including as a consultant to the World Bank Group. At VentiQ, Paul guides clients through proposition design, GTM strategy, and scalable credit enablement across complex regulatory environments.

Alex is a veteran in fraud, cybersecurity, and ecosystem risk, with a career spanning top-tier banks and global networks. He has held leadership roles at Citi, Emirates Islamic, and Visa, where he worked with regulatory bodies and law enforcement on transaction risk, compliance, and cross-border security. At VentiQ, Alex helps clients design secure, scalable risk frameworks and build trust-driven payment ecosystems.

Solution Delivery & Technology Assurance Lead
Marko is a seasoned technology leader with deep expertise in solution architecture, solution delivery, quality assurance, and integration across the fintech ecosystem. As Visa’s Global Lead for Client Integration and Solutions Engineering within Value Added Services, he helped shape how products are built, deployed, and adopted at scale. He brings a pragmatic, end-to-end approach to technology transformation, ensuring that new solutions not only meet specs, but deliver measurable value in the market. At VentiQ, Marko focuses on helping clients de-risk their technology investments, future-proof architectures, increase solution quality, and accelerate time to implementation, while ensuring readiness from core infrastructure to client onboarding.
